PRODUCTION OF POTASSIUM NITRATE BASED ON BRUSITE BY CONVERSION METHOD

The article analyzes the production of potassium nitrate with justification of the relevance of the problem being solved and studies the influence of technological parameters on the process of producing potassium nitrate by the conversion method. The optimal technological parameters for the production of potassium nitrate have been established. According to the optimal conditions for the production of potassium nitrate, as well as the parameters of the processes of decomposition of brucite with nitric acid with the formation of magnesium nitrate, followed by the conversion of magnesium nitrate with potassium chloride. Potassium-nitrogen fertilizers were obtained that do not contain chlorine ions, containing 44.5% potassium oxide and 13.5% nitrogen.
