Abstract

Lactase deficiency develops as a result of the complete absence of the enzyme lactase florizine hydrolase, which is prodused in enterocytes of the mucous membrane of the small intestine. The lactose-deficient LCT C/T-13910 genotype is relatively higher in children with atopic disease than in the general population.Given the high prevalence of hypolactasia, the polymorphism of its clinical manifestations,it can be recommended to expand the gudilines for diagnostic measures that determine the presence of lactase deficiency.
