Abstract

This article analyzes the formation, stages of development and practical significance of the self-financing system in the economy of higher education institutions. The authors highlight the role of various sources of financing in ensuring the financial independence of higher education institutions, methods of their management, as well as ways to improve the system. At the end of the article, it is emphasized that the development of the self-financing system is directly related to the quality of education and the stability of higher education institutions.
