Abstract

Efficient management of local budget expenditures plays a crucial role in ensuring sustainable socio-economic development at the regional level. This study examines the current state of budget expenditure mechanisms in the Khorezm region of Uzbekistan, highlighting both achievements and existing challenges. The research analyzes expenditure structures, identifies inefficiencies in allocation and utilization, and evaluates the impact of budget policies on regional development. Using comparative analysis and statistical data, the study proposes practical recommendations aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability, and effectiveness in budget spending. The findings emphasize the importance of introducing modern financial management tools, digital monitoring systems, and performance-based budgeting to optimize resource allocation. The research contributes to improving fiscal discipline and achieving long-term financial stability in the Khorezm region, serving as a model for other regions of Uzbekistan.
